Terms of Service
Last updated 22 October 2026
These terms apply when you use Spica at hispica.com. By creating an account or using Spica you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Spica.
Spica is in beta
- Spica is an early version. Features will change, some may be removed, and you may run into bugs or downtime.
- Spica is provided "as is" and "as available", without promises that it will always work, be error free, or keep every piece of data.
- If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them to improve Spica, with no obligation to you.
You are responsible for what you send
Spica gives you tools to build proposals and pre-sales, and it may offer ideas along the way: templates, wording, structures, suggested pricing or price ranges, business models, AI generated text, and tips on how to talk to clients. These are suggestions only. You decide what to use, and you should check everything before you send it.
- All of your communications, proposals, pre-sales, prices, terms and data are your own responsibility. This stays true when Spica suggested the idea, the wording or the price.
- Spica does not take responsibility for the results of what you send or agree to, including lost deals, pricing that turns out too high or too low, disputes with clients, or any loss of income.
- Nothing in Spica is legal, financial, tax or other professional advice. If you need that, speak to a qualified professional.
- AI generated suggestions can be wrong, incomplete or similar to what other users receive. Review them before you use them.
- Any agreement you make with a client through Spica is between you and that client. Spica is not a party to it and does not check or guarantee what it says.
Price
- Spica is free to use during the beta.
- This may change. In the future Spica may introduce paid plans, change what is included for free, or change its prices.
- Before any change that affects what you pay or what you get, we will email you at least 30 days in advance.
- We will never charge you without your clear agreement. When a change is announced you can choose a plan, export your data, or close your account, with no penalty.
Your account
- Give accurate details and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- You must be old enough to enter into a contract where you live.
Your content
- What you put into Spica stays yours: your wording, prices, images, logos and your clients' details. You give Spica permission to store it and show it to the people you send it to, only so the service can work.
- You must have the right to use everything you upload, and to share your clients' details with Spica.
- Keep your own copies of anything important. In beta, data can be lost.
Acceptable use
Do not use Spica to break the law, to send spam or misleading messages, to upload anything harmful, or to try to reach other studios' accounts or data. We may suspend an account that does.
Limits of our liability
- As far as the law allows, Spica is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost business, lost profits, lost clients or lost data, arising from your use of Spica.
- As far as the law allows, Spica's total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid Spica in the 12 months before the claim. While Spica is free, that amount is zero.
- Nothing here removes rights you have under consumer law that cannot be removed.
Ending
You can stop using Spica at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. During the beta we may also pause or end the service, and if we do, we will tell you in advance where we can, so you have time to save your work.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the new version goes on this page with a new date at the top. For changes that matter, we will email you at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not agree with them, you can close your account before then. Using Spica after that means you accept them.
